This activity is simple and requires 2 different size marbles, a binder, pennies, pens, rulers and the worksheet that is linked on the page. Their is also a video about gravity to watch as well.

ACTIVTY 2:
This activity allows you to take the kids to the playground after explaining gravity and friction.
You can also touch on Newton's laws.
The kids will experience inertia with this activity and you can search out other ways on the playground that gravity and friction work together.
Have the kids draw pictures and write a summary of their experience using the science vocabulary gravity, friction, motion, and inertia.
