Introduction Song: Play it all the way through and sing along. It's fun and the kids do really remember some of the function of the organelles by listening to this song. Play it every chance you get, the functions of organelles is important.

ACTIVITY 2:
This online virtual lab is a great review for organelles. This would work best if you had enough computers for groups of 2 or 3.

Activity 3:
You can have the students create a matching games for other classes or grade levels.
They would be given 10 cards and they would be instructed to write the cell structure on one and the name of the organelle on the other. They can design the backs of their cards with the name of their game and their own logo. Remind them that the back of their cards need to all be close to identical for a matching game.
Each child would put their finished set in a sandwich bag for the next group to play.
They can either use a computer to look up organelles and their functions or you can use the attached list. To give them an example of how to play/make this game, click on the online version below.

Activity 4:
I have who has. Cut out the cards from the attached games. Have the students work in pairs or groups and make sure they know about the cards they have.

Activity 5:
This activity requires lots of supplies and consuming lots of sugar. you may be able to modify it to meet your needs. Some people make cells from construction paper, or play dough as well.
